Notes — working journal

Thinking out loud.

Shorter, dated pieces that aren't ready to be papers. Half-formed arguments, debugging observations, a chart that surprised us, a counter-argument to one of our own claims. Signed, dated, never silently edited.

Editorial stance

Notes record thinking. Papers record evidence.

Notes are opinions, observations, and provocations. They are not pre-registered, not hashed, not retraction-conditioned — and not the place we make evidential claims. If a note matures into an empirical question, it gets promoted to a paper with the full protocol.
